The E-flite Eratix 3D SWS (Sport Wood Series) with a wingspan of 1.6 m (64") is the larger version of the popular Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) with 860 mm. It combines the advantages of a light and stable wooden construction! The model is available both as an ARF version and, for the first time, as a BNF Basic version, which can be assembled in a very short time compared to other models in this class.

The E-flite® Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm has taken the market by storm as the most practical, easy to assemble and fly "e;Flat Foamy" e;model in its class. Now the Eratix 3D SWS (Sport Wood Series) 1.6m (64") brings the same benefits - combined with a light, stiff and robust wooden construction that offers outstanding performance, comfort and unbeatable value for money. It is the first wooden model of this size to be fully 3D-capable and is available as a BNF Basic version. This is quick and easy to assemble without glue and is equipped with factory-installed, high-voltage digital servos with metal gears, a 6S-compatible Spektrum Avian motor and Smart ESC as well as a 6-channel receiver with AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. Alternatively, an ARF version is also available, ready for installation of your preferred propulsion system and electronics.

The E-flite® Eratix 3D Sport Wood Series (SWS) 1.6m (64") offers the perfect combination of aggressive aerobatic performance and smooth sport flying - without the hassle of building a model yourself! The BNF Basic version can be assembled without glue and is ready to fly in less time than it normally takes to build comparable models in this class. Based on the design of the "e;Flat Foamy "e; Eratix, this model has a stable, rigid yet lightweight wooden construction. The hull made of balsa and plywood with carbon fiber reinforcements is delivered from the factory with a high-quality UltraCote™ foil covering. The BNF Basic version is largely pre-assembled so that you can get it ready to fly in no time at all - without glue or special tools. Thanks to the two-part wing, which is assembled without screws or tools, the model is easy to transport and store. In addition, you can install the optional Side Force Generators (SFGs) supplied to further improve the aerobatic characteristics.
The BNF (Bind-N-Fly) Basic version is equipped with four factory-installed, high-voltage digital Spektrum servos with metal gears, a 6S-compatible Avian 5055-500Kv outrunner motor and a 100-amp Smart ESC. The ESC provides a wide range of telemetry data to the propulsion system - both with Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible Spektrum radio controls with AirWare technology. This version is also equipped with an AR637TA+ receiver that provides full-range battery voltage, current draw, ESC temperature and more. In addition, it enables thrust reversing for special ground maneuvers and other functions. The receiver also offers the benefits of AS3X+, which has been specially tuned for 3D/XA (Extreme Aerobatic) flight performance without compromising flight feel, as well as the optional SAFE Select technology. The ARF (Almost-Ready-To-Fly) version is ready for the installation of your favorite electronics and drive components.
Both versions feature carbon fiber landing gear with optional wheel fairings and a large, top-mounted canopy for easy access to the battery compartment. They are also equipped with pin hinges for the ailerons and removable pin hinges for the elevator and rudder, allowing easy installation or replacement of the control surfaces without gluing. All these features make the Eratix 3D SWS an ideal model for everyday sport flying or 3D aerobatics - perfect for advanced to professional pilots!

Skill level 3 - experience required
Skill Level 3 airplanes, like this one, are for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar models. This ARF (Almost Ready-to-Fly) version requires more experience and skill than the BNF® Basic version, as you will need to select and install a suitable power system, servos and receiver. These components do not include the already tuned AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. You should already have experience and the necessary skills to successfully fly models such as the E-flite Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm, Sportix 1.1m, Timber X 1.2m, Extra 330 SC 3D 1.3m or other similar class models before attempting the ARF version of the Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m (64").

Almost-Ready-To-Fly flexibility
This Almost-Ready-To-Fly (ARF) version comes mostly pre-assembled and ready to install the motor, ESC, servos and receiver of your choice (all components are sold separately).

Wooden frame

Should damage occur to parts of the airframe or other components that cannot be repaired, a comprehensive selection of spare parts is available.
