Introduced in 1976, the CJ-7 model quickly became a favorite for rock crawling and remained in production until 1987 when it was replaced by the Jeep Wrangler. To this day, the CJ-7 is considered the most iconic rock crawler of all time.

In addition to the officially licensed Jeep CJ-7 body, this model features licensed Gen-Right bumpers and other protection, a full interior with an opening center console compartment, a roll cage and much more. Even the rims and tires add to the authenticity: The rims are officially licensed Raceline Daytona beadlocks with officially licensed Mickey Thompson Baja Boss high traction tread tires.
As part of the Axial SCX10 III family, the CJ-7 is naturally as powerful as it is detailed. It feels right at home on trails and scale rock crawling obstacles. For precise handling and proven durability, the SCX10 III platform features a remote-controlled Dig function that improves turning and control. The Dig servo is already installed.
The SCX10 III Jeep CJ-7 V2 comes fully assembled and ready to drive - with a factory-installed, brushed motor drive system and Spektrum SLT3 radio control. The V2 version features upgraded electronics, including a separate ESC and dual-protocol receiver for easier upgrades, a stronger steel geared servo with 25T spline standard gearing, and all you need is a 2-3S LiPo battery and a matching charger.

DIG FUNCTION
Thanks to the gearbox's Dig function, you can lock the rear axle directly on the remote control and switch to front-wheel drive. This significantly improves maneuverability and control. Dig servo is already included and installed.

OFFICIALLY LICENSED JEEP CJ-7 BODYWORK
The officially licensed and factory-painted CJ-7 Scale body is made of robust polycarbonate and impresses with numerous details. These include licensed Gen-Right bumpers and other protective devices, a fully injection-molded roll cage and a complete interior with a hinged center console. The doors can be opened or removed completely. The T2 version features an authentic copper-brown finish with a chrome radiator grille and LAREDO decals that pay homage to the legendary equipment line of the late 70s and early 80s.


UPDATED SPEKTRUM SLT3 SMART REMOTE CONTROL
The Spektrum SLT3 remote control is a dual-protocol system that is compatible with DSMR receivers. This means you can easily upgrade to high-quality Spektrum radio controls without having to change receivers. The green power button identifies this special version, which offers adjustable endpoints on the third channel - perfect for optimized control of the DIG function.


INSTALLED POWER SYSTEM
The factory-installed brushed motor drive system includes a 540-size Axial Slickrock 35T motor, a waterproof Spektrum 40A brushed ESC and a Spektrum SR515 DSMR 5-channel receiver. This setup offers reliable performance and allows for easy upgrades.


STEEL SERVO
The S683 servo is equipped with more robust steel gears (harder than brass) and features standardized 25T gearing for increased compatibility.


METAL GEARBOX
The CJ-7's gearbox is equipped with ball bearings and robust metal internal gears to provide the strength required for demanding trails.


OPTIMIZED SUSPENSION
The multi-link rigid axle suspension is equipped with 6 mm stainless steel links and metal pivot balls to ensure maximum durability for off-road use.
