Spektrum Smart Technology introduces our line of Smart Trail Pro LiPo batteries, which are designed to deliver consistently higher and more stable voltage throughout the life of the battery, even under the most extreme loads.
The new Spektrum Smart Trail Pro Series batteries are specifically designed for RC scalers and crawlers that need maximum capacity and performance! The Pro Series batteries allow more capacity to be packed into the LiPo cells, enabling higher mAh ratings compared to similar sized battery packs. The Trail Pro series features a newly developed semi-hard casing, with a thinner and lighter shell that is also rigid, durable and shock resistant. In addition, the thinner hard case allows cells with higher C-rate and capacity to be accommodated in limited spaces. This series exists alongside the current Smart G1 and G2 batteries and is an upgrade for standard hardcase battery packs.
The benefits of the Smart Trail Pro series batteries include longer battery life, better performance over the entire discharge life of the pack and the peace of mind that your Smart battery is maintenance free.
When a Smart Trail Pro battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, the unique charging parameters and status information are transferred from the integrated microchip to the charger. You can use the charger to view and set settings such as charging current. All you have to do to charge the battery is connect it to your smart charger. The Smart technology takes care of the rest.

Intelligent automatic storage discharge
Spektrum Smart Trail Pro Series batteries virtually take care of themselves. Trail Pro Series batteries are factory programmed to automatically discharge to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The result is longer battery life, better performance over the life of the battery and the peace of mind that your Smart battery is maintenance free. The user can change the battery's automatic storage voltage settings at will.

Smart Battery technology
When connected to a Spektrum™ Smart Charger, a Smart Trail Pro battery's unique parameters, status and balancer information are automatically transferred from its microchip via the IC2® or IC3® connector data cable. To charge and balance the battery, simply connect it to your Smart charger. The safe charging process starts automatically.

Simple and fast
Preset charge, discharge and storage parameters are automatically transferred from your Spektrum™ Smart Trail Pro Series battery to your smart charger, so charging is as easy as plugging in the battery. The charge rate of individual batteries can also be customized by the user, so you can take full advantage of batteries with faster charge rates. The battery's integrated microchip remembers the last set charge rate so that these settings are automatically applied the next time you connect it.

Data-rich
An integrated microchip enables each Smart battery to store important information such as battery brand, chemistry, cell count, capacity, number of charge cycles, number of discharges, C-rate, battery temperature and internal resistance. In addition, each battery stores a log of unwanted events such as overcharging, over-discharging and over-temperature. This allows you to make the most informed decision about each battery when preparing your equipment for the next ride.

New housing design
The new housing design is made of thinner polycarbonate material, allowing more capacity (mAh) to be accommodated in a crawler-compatible form.
