The E-flite® Pilatus PC-21 1.3 m (1.45 m length) was designed to be the most practical and high-performance scale model of Pilatus’s modern training platform! It impresses with a wealth of scale details and functional features, including LED landing lights, position lights, and anti-collision lights, as well as landing flaps with scale-accurate hinges and hidden linkages. The factory-installed electric retractable landing gear, featuring robust metal components including shock-absorbing and durable trailing-link struts enables takeoffs and landings on a wide variety of surfaces from paved runways to compacted ground and short grass.
The sleek EPO fuselage is reinforced throughout with composite materials and ships from the factory with a high-quality, fully painted finish and decals. Best of all: No glue is required for assembly! A total of eight hex screws secure the vertical stabilizer and the two-piece wing with tool-less snap-fit connections, while the horizontal stabilizers can be easily snapped in and outwithout any tools or fasteners. That means you’ll be ready to enjoy an authentic PC-21 flying experience in less time than it takes to charge a battery!
Both versions include seven factory-installed servos with metal gears and ball-joint connections. These ensure precise and reliable control—whether for scale flying, high-speed maneuvers, aerobatics, or even aggressive aerobatics. The BNF Basic version, in particular, is equipped with a factory-installed AR637TA+ receiver, which offers advanced AS3X® technology and optional SAFE® Select features. The receiver also includes Smart Transmitter File (STF) technology, which allows you to automatically import all settings for NX and iX transmitters during binding—so you’ll be in the air faster than ever before.
The specially tuned brushless outrunner motor and the Spektrum™ Avian™ 100-amp Smart ESC are compatible with standard 6S 4000–7000 mAh batteries. With the included 5-blade propeller and spinner, you’ll achieve unlimited climb performance and a maximum horizontal flight speed of over 160 km/h. Alternatively, you can install the included 2-blade spinner and an optional APC 12x12E propeller (APC12012E, sold separately) to achieve even higher speeds with significantly lower power consumption and longer flight times. The ESC provides a wide range of real-time telemetry data on the power system—with both Smart and non-Smart batteries—via compatible receivers (including the AR637TA+ in the BNF Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare-enabled transmitters. Skill Level 4 - Experienced Pilots (Advanced experience required)
Level 4 aircraft, such as this model, are suitable for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar models. This PNP (Plug-N-Play) version requires more experience and skill than the BNF Basic (Bind-N-Fly) version, as you’ll need to install a receiver that isn’t already equipped with the pre-tuned AS3X+ and SAFE Select technologies. You should already have experience and the necessary skills in handling models such as the E-flite ElectroStreak 1.1m, V1200 1.2m, warbirds in the 1.2m to 1.5m scale, 64mm or larger EDF jets, or other models in this class before attempting to fly the PC-21 1.3m PNP version.


Plug-N-Play® Configuration
The Plug-N-Play (PNP) version comes with a factory-installed power system and servos that can be connected directly to a compatible receiver of your choice (sold separately). You’ll also need a compatible transmitter and a battery (also sold separately). Just install the receiver, complete the final assembly steps, and you’re ready to go!


Smart Technology
The PC-21 1.3 m is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart ESC, which provides a wide range of real-time telemetry data from the power system, including total battery voltage and more—with both Smart and non-Smart batteries. This data is transmitted via compatible receivers (including the AR637TA+ installed in the BNF Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare-enabled remote controls (such as the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 through NX20, iX12 through iX20, and others) during flight. With a 7-8+ channel transmitter, you can also activate the optional engine/reverse thrust function to shorten the roll-out distance after landing and provide additional unique ground maneuverability.

Strength and Precision
