Skill Level 3 - Advanced Pilots (Experience Required)
Level 3 aircraft, such as this model, are ideal for RC pilots who have already gained experience with “Next Step” models and beyond. You should be able to assemble, set up, and fly similar models. Although this is the easiest 787 model to fly to date, it is not suitable for beginners. Exclusive Technologies
This is the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner model equipped with the exclusive Spektrum AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works in the background to compensate for the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a smooth flying experience almost as if you were piloting a much larger aircraft. The optional SAFE Select technology provides pitch and roll angle limits as well as automatic self-stabilization, which can be turned on and off with a switch to make flying the 787 easier. SAFE Select also features an automatic hand-launch assistant that detects the force of a hand launch and automatically applies elevator input, causing the aircraft to climb at a steeper angle for a few seconds making takeoffs significantly easier.


Telemetry-Capable
The Micro Boeing 787 Dreamliner is equipped with a control unit including a receiver and ESCs that provides a wide range of real-time telemetry data from the power system. This includes, among other things, the battery’s total voltage, current consumption, and more. This works with both Smart and non-Smart batteries. The data can be displayed during flight on compatible Spektrum transmitters with AirWare technology (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 through NX20, iX12 through iX20, and others).

The factory-installed brushless system features 30-mm impellers and high-performance outrunner motors that are 3S-compatible. The airframe is lighter and stiffer than EPO or EPP, while also featuring integrated scale details, reinforced plastic sections on the undersides of the fuselage and wing tips, and additional composite reinforcements. This makes the Dreamliner robust yet lightweight. The result is an impressive scale appearance that is easy to maintain and offers an optimal flying experience. In addition, the model can be easily repaired using odorless, suitable superglue, Foam 2 Foam, epoxy resin, or other foam-friendly adhesives.
