ARRMA 1/8 QUAKE 4S DSC 4X4 RTR Brushless Motor - Introduction

The series began with the QUAKE 223S and the QUAKE GROM. The ARRMA® QUAKE™ 4S DSC 4X4 RTR takes the concept to a whole new level. As the first vehicle on the new ARRMA 4S platform, it combines the larger 1/8 scale with powerful 4S brushless technology and a rugged, low-maintenance design featuring fewer parts.
It’s built on a monster truck chassis with a high center of gravity that leans realistically in turns and allows for wheelies when desired. The increased ground clearance ensures excellent off-road performance on gravel, grass, and uneven terrain. The integrated wheelie bar supports spectacular driving maneuvers, while the Chevron tires provide high grip. The permanent all-wheel drive with three differentials reliably distributes power to all four wheels and ensures maximum traction even during hard landings.
Under the body is a Complete Spectrum™ 4S powertrain. The Firma™ 150A Brushless Smart ESC V2 (IC5) supports 3S and 4S LiPo batteries and powers the Firma™ 3674 2300Kv brushless motor. Heat sinks, fans, and the integrated chassis ventilation ensure efficient temperature control even during extended runs. The separate placement of the ESC and receiver improves reliability and driving precision.
To ensure performance remains controllable at all times, the QUAKE 4S is equipped with Spektrum Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). The system automatically corrects steering when necessary, detects oversteer, and assists the driver with controlled drifts. Four selectable modes allow for different levels of intervention from maximum assistance to a completely unadulterated driving experience. The Spektrum SLT3™ 2.4-GHz 3-channel radio features adjustable throttle travel limit, while the waterproof Spektrum S662 digital servo with metal gears, aluminum servo horn, and rugged servo saver ensures precise steering.
The QUAKE 4S was designed for tough conditions. The deep composite chassis protects the electronics and increases stability. Locking shock mounts provide additional rigidity, while the integrated wheelie bar allows for big wheelies. Aluminum coil-over shocks with oversized piston rods reliably absorb jumps and hard landings. Shock-absorbing chassis reinforcements, an oversized front bumper, and mud flaps on the rear control arms further enhance durability. The integrated body protection reduces dirt intrusion and protects vehicle components during rollovers.
Maintenance has also been simplified. The minimal number of parts makes servicing easier, while the spacious battery compartment—featuring a battery strap and an easily accessible mounting system allows for quick battery changes. The concealed body mounting ensures a clean look and eliminates the need for conventional body clips. The QUAKE 4S is available in Black/Red, White/Blue, and as a limited-edition Black/Pearl version.

DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)
The Spektrum™ Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) assists the driver with automatic steering corrections for controlled and easily manageable handling. The system detects oversteer early on and stabilizes the vehicle with targeted countersteering impulses. Four selectable modes allow you to customize the level of intervention—from maximum assistance to an unadulterated driving experience. As your driving skills improve, you can gradually reduce the assistance or disable it entirely.


ROBUST CONSTRUCTION FOR DEMANDING CONDITIONS
The exceptionally durable composite plastic chassis, locking damper bridges, a generously sized front bumper, and shock-absorbing reinforcements ensure high durability even during severe impacts. Mud flaps on the control arms and integrated body protection elements keep dirt and debris away from critical vehicle components.


MAXIMUM TRACTION ON ANY TERRAIN
The all-wheel-drive system with three differentials ensures even power distribution to all four wheels. The chevron-pattern tires provide excellent grip on gravel, grass, dirt, and other loose surfaces, ensuring reliable traction even under challenging conditions.


SPEKTRUM™ 4S DRIVE SYSTEM
The Spektrum™ Firma™ 150A Brushless Smart ESC V2 with IC5 connector supports operation with 3S and 4S LiPo batteries and powers a Firma™ 3674 2300Kv brushless motor. Compared to earlier ARRMA 4S models, the motor length has been increased from 68 mm to 74 mm, resulting in higher torque. Heat sinks, a fan, and the integrated chassis cooling system with an air-permeable fan cover ensure effective heat dissipation even during extended runs.


EASY MAINTENANCE
Thanks to the reduced number of parts, maintenance is quick and straightforward. Easy access to the drive system, electronics, and battery compartment allows for short service times and ensures that the QUAKE 4S is back in action quickly.
