The Toyota SR5 is an absolute classic among pickups and has already conquered every legendary off-road terrain. As one of the most popular vehicles for demanding crawling, the SR5 effortlessly masters the toughest trails from the Rubicon to Johnson Valley and Imogene Pass. The Axial® SCX10 III 1987 Toyota SR5 is Axial's first officially licensed 1/10th scale Toyota and combines the iconic SR5 design with trail-gear components that real off-roaders appreciate.
The SR5's attention to detail begins with the intricately designed Xtra Cab body, which features a true-to-scale replica of the radiator grille, headlights, tail lights and hood catches. However, the highlight is the impressive Trail Gear (TG) axles, which not only impress visually, but also increase performance. The AR45P portal axles feature authentic Trail-Gear style housings that not only capture the design perfectly, but also provide outstanding ground clearance and durability. The authentic trail gear look is rounded off by the officially licensed Creeper Lock Beadlock rims, which are fitted with Interco Super Swamper tires.
The SR5 is based on the proven SCX10 III platform and features a robust C-profile chassis that minimizes flex and increases suspension precision. The durable LCXU transmission with dig function provides reliable power transmission, while the adjustable aluminum coilover shock absorbers allow for customizable performance. Raised bumpers optimize banking and departure angles for technical terrain.
The Ready-to-Run package includes a Spektrum™ SLT3 remote control, a waterproof SR515 DSMR® 5-channel receiver and a waterproof 40A Brushed ESC all designed to help riders hit the trails. LCXU GEARBOX WITH DIG
Equipped with a powerful LCXU single-speed transmission, the SCX10 III 1987 Toyota Xtra Cab offers a low center of gravity for stability on trails and courses. The transmission has ball bearings and robust metal gears for strength and durability. The gears can also be swapped out to use optional standard axles (SA gears sold separately). The integrated Dig function allows the rear wheels to be locked at the touch of a button, allowing tighter cornering and giving the front wheels extra grip on hard-to-reach ledges.


CLIPLESS BODYWORK
The new clipless body system is robust and designed to withstand crashes on the trail. At the same time, it gives the truck a clean and realistic scale look. Simply press the locking lever at the rear of the truck, lift the body and pull it backwards - and it's off in seconds.


LICENSED TRAIL-GEAR AR45P PORTAL AXLES
The included Trail-Gear AR45 portal axles provide additional ground clearance on the differential module, making off-road maneuvering easier. The Trail-Gear axle housings are the perfect detail to complete this Scale SR5 model.


OFFICIALLY LICENSED RIMS AND TIRES
The officially licensed Trail-Gear Creeper Lock beadlocks give the truck the perfect scale look and ensure optimum performance at the same time. The Interco Super Swamper tires provide the grip and ground clearance needed to tackle any terrain with ease.


BATTERY HOLDER MOUNTED ON ROCK SLIDER
The all-new battery compartment is integrated into the Rockslider on the side of the vehicle and offers enough space for everything from a small competition battery to a large 5000mAh trail LiPo battery. The elastomer strap allows quick access to the battery while ensuring it stays securely in place.


LICENSED TRAIL-GEAR ROCK SLIDER
The robust Trail-Gear Rockslider not only improves the scale look, but also the performance. It protects both the bodywork and the chassis and helps the SR5 glide effortlessly over obstacles.


ADJUSTABLE ALUMINUM COILOVER SHOCK ABSORBERS
The oil pressure shock absorbers are equipped with aluminum threaded bodies and a single coilover spring. They can be individually adjusted to achieve optimum damping. These shock absorbers offer the perfect combination of realistic design and first-class performance!


OPTIMIZED SUSPENSION GEOMETRY
The SR5's 3-link front suspension has been optimized to minimize toe change during compression, while the 4-link rear suspension reduces torque warping.


INSTALLED DRIVE SYSTEM
The pre-installed drive system consists of an Axial Slickrock 35T brush motor and a waterproof Spektrum 40A brush ESC. This simple and reliable combination allows you to spend more time on the trails and less time on maintenance.


SEALED RECEIVER
The sealed housing reliably protects the Spektrum 5-channel SR515 DSMR receiver from the elements. So you can conquer any terrain with complete confidence!


SPEKTRUM SLT3 2.4GHz REMOTE CONTROL
The included Spektrum SLT3 remote control is designed to help riders of all experience levels succeed on the trails. With the throttle travel limiter, you can reduce the vehicle's maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready to unleash the full power. Four AA batteries are included.


SCX10III STEEL C-PROFILE CHASSIS
The robust and rigid C-profile steel chassis of the SCX10 III minimizes frame torsion and ensures more precise suspension movement. Thanks to the two-piece chassis design, you can easily adjust the wheelbase of your truck.


BOAT SIDE ROCK SLIDERS
The new and improved rock sliders with beveled underside provide more ground clearance and allow the SR5 to glide smoothly over rocks and obstacles.
