Now the UMX™ Eratix 3D FF 450mm offers all these benefits in a scaled-down, ultra-micro format, so you can fly in even more places and tight spaces - even indoors! The E-flite® Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) with 450mm wingspan offers the perfect combination of aggressive aerobatic performance, smooth sport flying and slow cruising as you know it from flat foam models - without the hassle of having to buy all components separately and assemble the model yourself! It's fully factory-assembled and ready to connect to your compatible Spektrum transmitter so you can take off in no time.
Inspired by the UMX™ Extra 300 and Yak 54 flat-foamy models, the Eratix features a laser-cut airframe reinforced with composite materials. This makes it light enough to fly extreme 3D maneuvers indoors such as living rooms or conference rooms - or almost anywhere outdoors. The factory-installed brushless outrunner motor with prop saver is compatible with popular 2S 280-350mAh batteries.
Additionally, the model is equipped with proven AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies for a stable and safe flying experience. It also provides real-time telemetry data such as battery voltage to compatible remote controls. This makes the Eratix 3D FF a versatile addition to any hangar and ideal for a wide range of pilots with advanced to professional experience!

Skill Level 2 - Some experience required
Skill Level 2 airplanes, like this model, are ideal for RC pilots who already have some experience and are able to assemble, set up and fly similar models. You should have the skills and experience to fly higher performance ultra-micro models such as the various UMX Timber models or larger models such as the E-flite Eratix 3D FF 860mm, T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m or Timber 1.5m before attempting the UMX Eratix 3D FF 450mm.

Bind-N-Fly equipment benefits
Already own a Spektrum™ remote control? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) airplanes give you a quick introduction to model flying while providing the best possible control - easier than ever before. The entire drive system, all servos and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver are already installed at the factory. All you have to do is bind the receiver with a compatible remote control, complete the final assembly steps and you're ready for your first flight.

Exclusive technologies
The UMX Eratix 3D FF 450mm is equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. AS3X works in the background to compensate for the effects of wind and turbulence and provide a smooth flight feel - almost as if you were piloting a much larger aircraft. The optional SAFE Select technology offers pitch and roll angle limits and automatic self-stabilization that can be turned on and off with a switch. This makes this model the easiest flyable flat-foamy ever!

Telemetry-capable
The UMX Eratix is equipped with a control unit that includes an ESC and a Spektrum receiver. This combination allows real-time flight battery voltage to be transmitted to compatible Spektrum AirWare radio controls (such as DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to NX20, iX12 to iX20 and more) during flight.

High performance
The factory-installed brushless drive system is equipped with a specially tuned brushless motor and a unique prop saver. This drive system provides plenty of thrust for unlimited vertical maneuvers and 3D performance with 2S 280-350mAh batteries!

Robust design
The laser-cut and reinforced foam construction ensures a lightweight yet robust airframe. The model is also easy to repair with odorless, foam-safe CA glue, Foam 2 Foam, epoxy resin or other foam-friendly adhesives. If any part of the airframe or components are damaged and cannot be repaired, a wide range of spare parts is available.
