Although its straight-line appearance earned it the nickname "square body" in the US, the iconic truck was also one of the first C/K generations to be optimized with computers and in wind tunnels to achieve lower drag and thus better fuel economy. Offered in a proven "ready-to-run" package, the Base Camp K10 is easy to get ready to drive and can tackle almost any terrain - just like the original, conquering country roads, fields and forest trails before parking on the highway. Designed for American-inspired off-road fun rather than technical climbs and spiky tracks, the Base Camp K10 is suitable for everyone. The officially licensed Stepside body of the Proline Chevy K10 is expertly painted and detailed at the factory. Axial offers a winning combination of scale looks and impressive durability and performance. The SCX10 III's carbon steel chassis is tough, realistic and easy to maintain. The included AR45 portal axles provide high ground clearance. The robust LCXU transmission with full ball bearings and all-metal internal gearing works with both portal and standard axles. In addition, the suspension is optimized and tunable oil-pressure shock absorbers and an off-road drivetrain are installed.

For even more RTR convenience, the Base Camp K10 drive system - with a Dynamite 35T brush motor and Spektrum 40A brush controller - is also factory-installed, and the included Spektrum SLT3 radio provides a reliable 2.4GHz connection. Simply install your choice of a 2S or 3S LiPo battery and take control of this classic US truck!





SCX10™ III STEEL C-PROFILE CHASSIS
The rigidity of the SCX10 III's C-section chassis reduces flex in the ladder frame and increases the precision of suspension movement.


AR45 PORTAL AXLES
The supplied AR45 portal axles provide additional ground clearance at the differential, making off-road maneuvering easier.


LCXU TRANSMISSION
The LCXU all-wheel drive transmission is durable and simple and works with standard and portal axles. The transmission has a complete set of ball bearings and all-metal gears for stability and durability.


OPTIMIZED SUSPENSION GEOMETRY
The Base Camp K10's front suspension geometry has been optimized to reduce turn-in, while the rear 4-link suspension reduces twist.


METAL JOINTS
All handlebars and ball joints are made of metal to ensure durable and long-lasting operation.


ADJUSTABLE ALUMINUM STRUTS
The oil-filled shock absorbers have threaded aluminum bodies and a single coil spring. The shock absorbers are adjustable to achieve the best damping rate.


FALKEN WILDPEAK M/T TIRES
The new 4.19" Falken Wildpeak M/T R35 compound tires on one-piece Raceline 928 Monster rims mounted on the Base Camp K10 provide optimal ground clearance and grip on dust, rocks and all other off-road trails.


BUILT-IN DRIVE SYSTEM
The supplied and installed drive system consists of a Dynamite 35T brush motor and a Spektrum 40A brush controller. With this simple and reliable combination, you'll spend more time on the trail and save a lot of time on maintenance.
