The Sonicwake 36 V3 offers numerous improvements that take the boat to a whole new level. Particularly noteworthy are the optimized dual water-cooling system, adjustable trim tabs with two additional tabs for even more precise tuning, and a longer rudder for better cornering. The innovative SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system for battery installation allows you to mount the batteries outside the boat in a bracket and then simply slide them into the hull, where they lock securely in place. This means battery installation takes just a few seconds.
Durability meets convenience with the replaceable bow design. Since most damage to boats occurs at the bow, it can now be replaced with just four screws saving time and money on repairs. The new breakaway rudder functions like a conventional breakaway rudder but requires no hardware replacement. Simply snap it back into place, and you’re good to go. Other practical features include a magnetic grease trap for easier maintenance and cleaning, as well as a new rubber seal on the cowling that provides even better protection against water ingress.

The Sonicwake 36 V3 Self-Righting Deep-V is equipped with a powerful, water-cooled 74x40mm 4-pole Spektrum™ 1350Kv brushless motor. Combined with the powerful 160A ESC, it reaches speeds of over 90+ km/h (60+ MPH) on 8S.


Waterproof Electronics
The Sonicwake V3 is equipped with the Smart-enabled Spektrum 160A Brushless Marine ESC, which delivers more power than is needed for powerful and fast performance. Combined with the optimized Spektrum 1350Kv brushless motor, this setup delivers impressive acceleration and outstanding top speed.


Self-righting hull design
Designed for maximum stability, the boat features a self-righting function in case it capsizes. This feature requires no additional power. Simply wait a few seconds for the flood chamber to fill with water and the boat to right itself. Then open the throttle, and the water will be forced out of the flood chamber as the boat moves forward.

SSL Battery Mount
The user-friendly SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system lets you conveniently secure the batteries in a mount outside the boat, instead of fumbling around in a cramped space. Then simply slide the mount into the hull, where it locks securely into place. Changing the battery takes just a few seconds, so you can get back on the water faster.


Replaceable Bow Tip
The bow tip can now be easily replaced if damaged. It’s no longer necessary to replace the entire hull. Four screws secure the bow section to the hull, allowing it to be easily replaced when needed. This industry-leading feature makes repairs easier and saves both time and money.


Breakaway Rudder Protection
One of the quickest ways to ruin an afternoon of fun with your RC boat is if the boat’s rudder accidentally hits an underwater obstacle. The Sonicwake V3 solves this problem with its fold-up rudder design. When the rudder hits a solid object, it simply folds upward, reducing the risk of damage to the hull or hardware.


SLT Remote Control
The SLT3 comes bundled with the brand-new dual-protocol receiver. This system allows you to easily upgrade to a Spektrum remote of your choice without having to purchase a separate receiver.


Dual Water Intake
Cooling the electronics is a top priority. The use of a dual water intake has increased water flow. This increased flow ensures that cool, clean water is directed to both the speed controller and the motor, keeping operating temperatures within the acceptable range.


Waterproof Receiver Box
The exposed metal pins on an RC boat’s receiver are particularly vulnerable to damage if water enters the hull. The Sonicwake 36? V3 is equipped with an improved, waterproof receiver box that provides optimal protection for your receiver. This keeps the receiver dry over multiple seasons and ensures a reliable radio connection.


Sealed Cabin
The lightweight canopy is equipped with convenient knurled screws that make it easy to attach and remove for access to the hull. The knurled screws can be securely locked in place with a quarter-turn. An improved rubber seal around the canopy opening ensures that no water enters the hull when the boat is upside down.


Grease Catcher for the Stuffing Box
Too little grease on the flex shaft is problematic but excess grease all too often leaves unsightly residue in the hull. The Sonicwake V3 features a magnetic grease catcher that concentrates excess grease in a small area, making it easy to remove. This makes it effortless to keep the interior of the boat clean and well-maintained.


Free-floating Prop-Strut bushing
This fully movable bushing allows you to lubricate the shaft mount quickly and easily. Simply remove the screw, and the grease flows through the shaft mount and the guide bearing. Thanks to the special openings in the bushing, the grease stays exactly where it’s needed.
