The Rustler VXL 4x4 is built on a modular chassis. The front and rear axles can be removed quickly and easily by removing just a few screws. The oil-filled shock absorbers cushion high jumps with ease and ensure smooth off-road handling.
The ProGraphix® body in an exclusive design is attached without split pins and is protected at the front and rear by reinforced bumpers. The Rustler also comes with a wheelie bar as standard.

The new factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit reinforces key drivetrain and suspension components designed for ultimate strength and durability. From the HD control arms to the steel carriers, this is the strongest drivetrain ever offered in a 4x4 VXL.

Self-righting system
If the vehicle lands on its roof and comes to a stop, you don't have to set it upright again, just press a button on the remote control. The Rustler will now right itself by accelerating and steering. As soon as it is back on its wheels, the driving fun can continue.

TSM -Traxxas Stability Management
This innovative steering aid makes it easier to control the vehicle on slippery and uneven tracks and corrects the line. The multifunction button on the TQi remote control can be used to infinitely adjust how much the TSM intervenes in the driving behavior, whereby only the steering movement is influenced and not the throttle position.

Waterproof electronics
The receiver box and the VXL-3s controller, as well as the digital servo, are sealed. This allows you to drive in water, mud and snow where other vehicles fall by the wayside.

Velineon brushless system
Consisting of the Velineon 3500 brushless motor and the VXL-3s speed controller. The components are powerful and waterproof. With Velineon you have the largest selection of compatible batteries including the 11.1 volt 3s LiPo pack, which allows your vehicle to reach top speeds of up to 100 km/h. The controller is optimally matched to the motor and does not need to be programmed. Operation is uncomplicated and takes place via a single button - simply plug it in and off you go!

TQi 2-channel remote control
With the advanced ready-to-race remote control, you don't need to set any channels or frequencies. The ergonomic design is very appealing thanks to the integrated and therefore protected antenna. The TQi is lightweight and sits comfortably in the hand.

The automatic model selection recognizes up to 30 models without having to save them first. As soon as you switch on the transmitter, the model and the corresponding settings are loaded.
The steering and throttle end point can be precisely adjusted. The multifunction knob can be used to regulate the TSM, steering sensitivity (Expo), throttle sensitivity (Expo), steering in percent (Dual Rate), braking force in percent (Dual Rate) or throttle trimming.

Traxxas Link Wireless Module compatible
The separately available wireless module turns your Android, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch into a tuning tool for your Traxxas model. Download the Traxxas Link app from Google Play or the App Store and you can optimize your Traxxas model via your color display on a colorful, visually appealing user interface.
