Checklist for the Scorpion V-Link II programming cable
To use the Scorpion V-Link II cable successfully, you need the following accessories: Diode adapter cable (item no. SCO1000145): Mandatory between controller and interface cable to protect the USB port of your PC from reverse currents.Power supply: A connected flight battery is necessary, as the controller must be active during the adjustment process.Software & driver: The free Scorpion SPROTO software and the appropriate USB driver must be installed on a Windows PC.

Hardware note
The cable is only required for controllers without their own USB port. Newer Tribunus II models often have a direct micro-USB connection, which eliminates the need for this interface cable.

Scorpion SPROTO software
SProto software: Official SProto download page (recommended platform for all Tribunus controllers).
V-Link II drivers: Usually the SProto software offers the installation of the drivers (like the CH341 or Prolific driver) directly. If these are required manually, they can often be found in the installation package or on the Scorpion download page.
