Skill level 2 - Some experience required
Skill level 2 aircraft, such as this model, are ideal for RC pilots who already have some experience and the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar models. Although this is the easiest B-2 model to fly to date, it is not suitable as a first RC airplane for beginners or as a first EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) jet model for intermediate or experienced RC pilots. You should already have experience and the skills necessary to successfully fly simpler EDF models such as the E-flite Habu SS (Super Sport) 50mm or 70mm, or higher performance EDF models such as the E-flite UMX Me 262, Viper 70mm and/or larger EDF models before attempting the Micro B-2 Spirit Twin 30mm EDF.

Already have a Spektrum transmitter? With Bind-N-Fly (BNF) model aircraft, you'll be in the air faster and easier than ever before - and with the best possible control experience. The models come fully assembled, including power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver. All you need to do is connect the receiver to a compatible transmitter, complete any final assembly steps and you're ready to fly!

Exclusive technologies
This is the first B-2 Spirit model to feature exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. AS3X works in the background to compensate for the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a stable flight feel as if you were piloting a much larger aircraft. Optional SAFE® Select technology provides pitch and roll angle limits and automatic self-stabilization that can be turned on and off with a switch. This makes the B-2 easier to fly. SAFE® Select also features an automatic hand launch assistant that recognizes the force of a hand launch and automatically adds elevator so the aircraft climbs at a steeper angle for a few seconds - making takeoff even easier.

Telemetry function
The Micro B-2 Spirit Twin 30mm EDF is equipped with a control unit that includes a receiver and ESCs. These provide a variety of real-time telemetry data on the propulsion system, such as total battery voltage, current draw and more - with both smart and non-smart batteries. This data can be displayed on compatible Spektrum AirWare™ transmitters (such as DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6 through NX20, iX12 through iX20 and more) during flight.

Higher performance
The factory-installed twin brushless motor features 30mm impellers with powerful 3S-compatible outrunner motors. This setup provides excellent speed and vertical performance as well as longer flight times than usual when using the recommended 850mAh 30+C LiPo batteries with IC2® connector.

Landing gear options
You can use the included fixed landing gear - with steerable nose wheel and implied landing gear doors - to taxi, take off and land on smooth surfaces. Alternatively, you can fly without landing gear to achieve more speed and performance. The integrated recessed grips and the automatic hand launch assistant for easy hand launches and landings on grass help.

Robust design
The EPO frame features numerous scale details, reinforced plastic wing edges and tips, and composite reinforcements in the nose and throughout the aircraft.
