The Spektrum™ DX Rugged+ 12-channel remote control sets a new standard, offering durability that stands up to the tough conditions that off-roaders, bashers and boaters are constantly exposed to. Like its predecessor, the DX6 Rugged, it impresses with its outstanding ergonomics. It is also based on Smart technology and, thanks to the dual protocol receivers, it can be easily connected to DSMR and SLT protocol receivers. The result is a first-class RC system with unparalleled robustness and innovative functions that combine precision, versatility and comfort - a remote control you won't want to do without.
To survive in the wilderness, the DX Rugged+ offers 12-channel flexibility and a variety of auxiliary switches for lighting, winches, mixing functions and more. The user interface features an innovative touch control panel that offers greater moisture resistance and is easy to operate. A simple tap is all it takes to access the control panel and select menus, options and values. In addition, we have equipped the easy-to-read LCD display with a backlight that provides exceptional brightness and clarity even in the harshest conditions. Thanks to the integrated telemetry function, you can display important data such as engine speed, vehicle speed, battery voltage and temperature directly on the remote control in real time. The integrated USB-C port also enables effortless firmware updates to keep your remote control up to date.
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) bumpers surround the housing of the remote control and protect it from drops, bumps and scratches. There is no external antenna that could be damaged - instead, a flat profile on the housing protects the powerful signal transmission inside. A versatile front protection on the housing further increases durability and offers mounting options for accessories such as cameras, light sources or other gadgets. Two attachment points for carrying straps allow you to always have the remote control to hand and have one hand free when needed. An easily accessible accessory compartment provides space for small tools, such as a T-wrench, which can be securely stowed in the holder provided. We have increased the water resistance of the remote control so that you can ride without worry even in rain or wet conditions. The design is rounded off by an aggressive off-road steering wheel that emphasizes the robustness of the remote control. It also features an innovative thumb lever that makes one-handed control of your vehicle safer and more precise.

Dual Protocol (SLT/DSMR) compatible
The DX Rugged+ can be connected to vehicles that use the SLT protocol, such as the Losi NASCAR RC race cars, the ARRMA GROM small scale models and the Axial SCX24 Micro Crawler. With this remote control, you can control both SLT and DSMR protocol receivers with just one device. Dual protocol means optimum control in every situation.

12 channels offer maximum flexibility and versatile control options for additional systems such as winches, lighting and more. The remote control is also particularly lightweight, making it more comfortable for longer operations. It can also be easily transported with all your vehicles.

Frequency-agile DSMR+® technology
The DX Rugged+ is based on frequency-agile DSMR+ 2.4GHz technology. This exclusive Spektrum™ technology can be used in all solid surface applications, including boats. It offers excellent range and responsiveness, even in busy 2.4GHz environments. The new features of the "e;Plus" e;version allow users to perform numerous mixing functions, change inputs and perform other advanced programming. New mixing functions include throttle modes, support for absolute travel, an emergency brake function and logical, combination and analog switches. The DX Rugged+ also supports both DRIVE and MS6X technology. It is also backwards compatible with DSM2® and marine-specific Spektrum receivers. This means that most long-time Spektrum users can continue to use their existing receivers.

Touch Interface
Our touch user interface allows tapping instead of swiping. This makes operating the panel much easier, and sensitivity can be conveniently adjusted via the remote control programming. This interface has also been designed to work reliably in a wide range of environmental conditions.

Unsurpassed robustness
Starting with a chassis based on Spektrum's outstanding ergonomic design, we have taken inspiration from the ruggedness of cordless power tools. We have transferred this engineering skill specifically to the needs of RC drivers. The result is a shock absorbing, rubberized bumper design that surrounds the remote control chassis and provides unprecedented protection for surface remote controls.

Backlit display
The DX Rugged+'s backlit LCD display makes it easy to navigate through the user-friendly software - no matter where you are. The display is perfect for reading the remote control in the dark and remains highly visible even in bright daylight.

Integrated telemetry
The integrated smart telemetry function provides you with real-time information about your vehicle's battery voltage, signal quality and engine temperature.** With the audio alert system, you can program the DX Rugged+ to notify you when certain telemetry values reach or exceed your set limits.

AVC® (Active Vehicle Control™) programming
The DX Rugged+ allows you to easily fine-tune your AVC system with direct access to specific settings. You can also use the open channels of the remote control to independently adjust the AVC system for steering and throttle. No matter what vehicle you drive, AVC technology improves your driving control and ensures that your vehicle behaves like a precisely tuned model that reacts predictably and safely at any speed.
