Cars & Details Ausgabe 04 Juli/August 2026
For all of you out and about across the country …
We’re excited to present another jam-packed issue full of outstanding designs, exciting stories, and RC accessories worth talking about.
Our cover story focuses on the new Tamiya Lunch-Box EVO, a neo-vintage buggy that never actually existed. We take a first look at it to see how Tamiya has redesigned the EVO chassis.
For this issue, we traveled across the country to meet many RC car enthusiasts and you. We had a booth at the Intermodellbau trade show in Dortmund. Of course, we also couldn’t miss a visit to the scale model event: the Super-Scale in Stadtoldendorf. We’ll be reporting on the Oldschool-RC Euro-Masters vintage buggy race in Göttingen, and finally, we’ll stop by the Tamico Offroad Cup, where the old Tamiya buggies raced on the beautiful clay track in Kinzigtal.
As for model building, we’re assembling the gigantic Reactor from JConcepts and taking a close look at this monster truck. Speed fans, don’t miss our review of the new Arrma Talion 6S. We’re introducing you to the Kyosho USA-1 monster truck and testing out the new Absima MINI AMT Magic-Purple beginner truck. We’re also curious about Patrick Beck’s first Touring-TECH column.
Other topics in this issue:
• 1:10 Tamiya Lunch Box EVO
• 1:10 JConcepts Reaktor
• 1:8 Kyosho USA-1 EP
• 1:7 Arrma Talion 6s EXB
• 1:16 Absima Mini AMT
