A280BHMW Servo
Description
The AGF-RC A280BHMW is a premium large model brushless servo with magnetic encoder and 5x ball bearings for 1:5 scale models or similar in an all-aluminum housing. Instead of a conventional potentiometer, a long-life magnetic encoder is used. The servo is designed for continuous load, its 5 ball bearings and the extremely hard gearbox are perfect for use in large-scale models. It is waterproof to IP67, so driving in the rain is no longer a problem.
The servo is HV-capable and can be operated directly from a 2s LiPo (4.8 - 8.4V).
The A280BHMW has been specially developed for the requirements of large 1:5 scale models. It is virtually backlash-free, extremely hard in the center position and powerful and fast at the same time. All these attributes make it the perfect servo when it comes to power, precision and speed.
With an actuating force of 78kg*cm and an actuating time at 8.4V of 0.082 / 60°, it leaves nothing to be desired. Of course, the A280BHMW can also be used in other applications that require power and speed.
The A280BHMW is also programmable with the optional USB interface AGF-SPV3.
This requires a Windows computer with Windows 7 or 10. The servos are supplied directly via the USB port and only need to be plugged into the interface. In the software, for example, the soft start, the neutral point, the servo travels can be adjusted (larger and smaller) or the direction of rotation can be set. Furthermore, the Sanwa SSR mode can be activated if required, which is of particular interest to RC car drivers. The integrated overload cut-off can also be adjusted in 3 stages and you can select what should happen in the event of signal loss.
Of course, these are optional features, all servos can be operated as normal straight out of the box and do not need to be adjusted beforehand!
