R.M.S. Titanic (722 Teile)

During its first maiden voyage on the night of April 14/15, 1912 on the Southampton-Cherbourg-Queenstown-New York route, the British ocean liner R.M.S Titanic collided with an iceberg and sank. This accident is one of the most famous maritime disasters and still arouses great emotions. There were around 2,228 people on the ship during the ill-fated voyage. It was 268.99 meters long and 29.41 meters wide. It was a true marvel of technology at the beginning of the 20th century.
