The E-flite Sportix 1.1m has been designed from the ground up as a modern "e;sportplane "e; with an excellent look and pleasant handling. It is perfect as a second model after a trainer model for pilots with some flying experience and an easy everyday aerobatic model for more experienced pilots. It is suitable for relaxed sport flying and masters simple and aggressive aerobatic maneuvers up to "e;F3A-like "e; precision aerobatics. Thanks to its practical size, it is easy to store, transport and fly on large lawns and model airfields - and yet it is large enough to be able to recognize the flag position well and to be easy to control even in windy conditions - especially the BNF Basic version, which is equipped with the improved AS3X+ technology that compensates for the effects of wind and turbulence better than ever before. This version is also equipped with the optional SAFE Select technology, which makes flying even easier. Both versions include Spektrum digital servos with metal gears, a 45A Smart Lite ESC and a 3S and 4S compatible motor!

E-flite Sportix 1.1m Overview

Whether you have just some flying experience and want to take the next step towards more advanced aerobatics after your first trainer model, or you're an experienced pilot looking for an everyday sport model, the E-flite Sportix 1.1m is the perfect choice. It is designed for easy, precise or aggressive aerobatics while remaining smooth, stable and predictable in any attitude. It has also been designed to offer a variety of modern features, from LED navigation lights to a two-piece horizontal stabilizer and wings with self-connecting servo connectors that can be installed and removed without tools. At the same time, it is large enough to be easily stored and transported without the need for disassembly and can be flown in large parks, sports fields and model airfields. Factory-installed digital servos with metal gears with ball linkages provide precise and reliable control at any flying speed. The power system includes a Spektrum outrunner motor and an Avian 45A Smart Lite ESC that is compatible with popular 3S and 4S 2200-3200mAh batteries. The BNF Basic version features a factory-installed Spektrum AR631+ receiver with exclusive and upgraded AS3X+ and optional SAFE Select technology.

Experience level 2 - Some experience required
Experience Level 2 aircraft, such as this one, are suitable for model pilots who already have some experience and the skills to build, program and fly a trainer model or similar class models. And although this is a very smooth and stable flying model, it is not a suitable first model airplane for beginners. Before attempting to fly the Sportix 1.1m, you should have the experience necessary to master trainer models such as the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m or similar class models.


Smart technology
The Sportix 1.1m is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC that provides a variety of real-time telemetry data from the propulsion system during flight, including total battery voltage, current draw, motor RPM and more - with both Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible receivers (including AR631+) and Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20 and others). In addition, the optional motor thrust reverser can help shorten the taxi path after landing or enable other taxi maneuvers. (5-6 channel remote control required for thrust reverser)


Versatile performance
The factory-installed brushless power system features a 45A Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC and a custom-tuned motor that delivers plenty of thrust with a 3S 2200mAh LiPo or even more airspeed and unlimited vertical climb performance with a 4S 3200mAh battery, with no modifications or upgrades required.


Smart Transmitter File
This BNF airplane is equipped with a receiver that contains a Smart Transmitter File (STF). This makes programming your remote control as easy as a few clicks. As soon as you bind your remote control to an STF-capable aircraft, all programming parameters are automatically downloaded from the receiver. Switch assignments, rates, expo, telemetry and voice outputs configure themselves. No long step-by-step instructions. No constant adjustments. A simple push of a button - and you're in the air faster!


Simple assembly
No glue is required for final assembly and you can have the Sportix 1.1m ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery! And although it's big enough to fit fully assembled in almost any vehicle, you can remove the two-piece wing to make the model even easier to store and transport. Integrated wing latches and self-connecting servo connectors mean you can remove or install the wing in no time without tools or fasteners.
