Single-wire telemetry
No need to connect multiple wires, sensors, modules and connections. With Avian™ ESCs, simple one-wire telemetry transmits a wide range of data directly to your transmitter in real time, including current, voltage, cell balance, temperature and RPM.


EC3™/EC5™ backwards compatible
Avian™ ESCs are equipped with IC™ series battery connectors. IC Series connectors are designed from the ground up to provide a more solid connection, higher heat resistance and effortless installation. When used with a Spektrum™ Smart battery with IC3™ or IC5™ connector, the controller can receive and transmit battery telemetry data. EC3™ and EC5™ connectors are also compatible with Avian ESCs for basic operation and ESC telemetry.


Smart Technology battery data
When paired with a Spektrum™ Smart LiPo battery, your Avian™ ESC offers the benefit of battery telemetry that is automatically transmitted to your radio in real time. Your transmitter screen will display helpful information such as the number of cycles, battery percentage, individual cell voltage and much more!


Multiple programming options
Several programming options are available. Throttle stick programming can be used without the need for anything else. The Smart ESC Programming Box allows you to easily adjust settings on the spot to suit flight conditions. An easy-to-use Smart Link USB update and programming app is also available.

The Avian ESCs' 32-bit M4 processor ensures high-resolution signal input and precise motor output.


Smart ESC thrust reverser
The Smart Avian ESCs are now equipped with the ability to reverse the motor at the push of a button! This allows the pilot to utilize the propulsion system for increased mobility on the ground while also acting as a brake for models that require more runway. This feature requires a Smart-compatible Spektrum transmitter and receiver and must be enabled in the ESC parameters.


ESC programming on the screen
Avian ESCs are now updated to allow pilots to program each ESC parameter directly from their Spektrum transmitter via the Avian Prog telemetry screen. This makes it easier to make quick setting changes, adjustments and experiments to maximize power output or efficiency, right at the flight line, without additional boxes or modules! This feature requires a Smart Telemetry compatible Spektrum transmitter and receiver.
