The licensed Willys Jeep has been released in the livery of the British SAS troops. The world's most popular off-road vehicle from the Second World War was designed on a scale of 1:35 and consists of 180 elements. The model presented is clearly different from those in service with the US Army. What really catches the eye is the very characteristic cut-out grill of the car with the condenser next to it. This modification of the factory car allows it to be used in difficult desert conditions, where it is very easy to overheat! The sand painting and the items necessary for survival in the desert on the hood and rear make the vehicle stand out and give it the atmosphere of a battle in Africa. The Special Air Service (SAS) was founded in 1941 by British officer David Stirling as an elite special unit for operations behind enemy lines. Initially, they operated in the North African desert and carried out sabotage missions against the Axis forces, attacking enemy airfields and vehicles in particular. As the war progressed, the SAS expanded its operations to Europe. After the D-Day invasion in 1944, they carried out sabotage operations in Normandy and supported the resistance in France, Belgium and Italy. They attacked German supply routes, bridges and railroads and paralyzed the enemy's transport and logistics. The SAS quickly gained a reputation for its effective and unconventional tactics. During the war, these units played a key role in weakening the Axis forces and became a legendary special forces formation.
