The Kodiaq VRS model was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 2018. It is the fastest Kodiaq and the most expensive ¦koda available in this family. It contains ¦koda's most powerful diesel engine, the 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine. The Kodiaq has a more aggressive design and a sportier finish. From 2019, the British police will be using the ¦koda Kodiaq vRS as a police car.
The name Kodiaq refers to the Kodiak bear, which lives on Kodiak Island off the south coast of Alaska.
