Battleship Gneisenau (2417 Pcs) (World War II)
A collector's model of the German battleship Gneisenau from the Second World War was produced by COBI in a 1:300 scale model. It consists of 2,417 elements and is 81 cm long. It faithfully reflects the dimensions of the historic ship and retains all the essential elements, including the armament. The ship was mapped from "Operation Berlin 1941" (Atlantic). It was the famous pirate rally in the Atlantic with the battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau!
The block model of the Genisenau ship was covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off during use. The elaborately reproduced shape of the hull and the attention to retaining as many details as possible are remarkable. The model has numerous moving parts such as: Propellers, rudders, rotating turrets and gun barrels that can be raised and lowered. The set also includes a very sturdy and aesthetic black display stand and a white plate with the name of the ship. Although the ship is very large, its construction is simple thanks to the intuitive building instructions based on clear symbols. Almost 2,500 elements ensure many hours of building and a great effect! The Gneisenau ship is an ideal starting point for fans of history, defense technology, the military and the navy. Once assembled, the ship looks very impressive, attracts attention and is sure to become a decoration for your collection, living room or office! Express your passion and build a story block by block!
The Gneisenau is a German battleship from the Second World War that was put into service on May 21, 1938. Both the Scharnhorst and the Gneisenau were a new type of German battleship. They were characterized by larger dimensions, speed and more powerful weapons. They were created in response to the expansion of the navy in France. Gneisenau took part in many combat operations, including the famous Operation Berlin in 1941, where it proved to be very effective. It was sunk in Gdynia on March 28, 1945 to blockade the port.
