The Spektrum™ AR630+ 6-channel AS3X+ receiver is a DSM2® and DSMX® capable receiver with a compact design that fits a variety of aircraft. It features full range and integrated AS3X+® and SAFE® stabilization. The all-new AS3X+ stabilization algorithm provides better flight performance, improved sensor accuracy and data rate, and gives pilots an even more enhanced flight experience compared to AS3X. There is no delay in control response or limits on control deflections. You'll simply feel like you're flying an expertly tuned model that does exactly what you want it to do.

Spektrum AR630+ 6-channel AS3X+ & SAFE receiver overview

The AR630+ features fly-by telemetry, a bind button for easy binding without a bind plug, SmartSafe™ technology, Hold-Last-Command and preset failsafe types set through Forward Programming. It also offers Smart Telemetry support and Smart Throttle support. In addition, Smart model files allow BNF models to be stored on the receiver to automatically import the model when binding.
With Smart technology, the normal servo connector on the throttle slot transmits the throttle signal to the ESC and the ESC sends telemetry data such as voltage and current back to the receiver. The throttle connection of the AR630+ receiver (channel 1 connection only) automatically recognizes when a Smart-compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series connectors can also pass battery data from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Avian™ ESCs are compatible with the AR630+ receiver for Smart technology functions.
For Smart to work, you must have a Smart ESC paired with a Smart telemetry receiver and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. Smart features may require an update to your transmitter. When a standard ESC or servo is connected to the throttle port of the AR630+ receiver, the throttle channel will function normally (PWM signal) as with any conventional RC system.

NEXT LEVEL FLIGHT STABILIZATION
The all-new AS3X+ features a significantly improved stabilization algorithm that has been thoroughly tested by experts with extensive model flying experience. The system is even easier to tune and can be easily optimized and set up for any of your aircraft types. Never again spend hours tuning and optimizing until you find the settings for your model. We were able to program most aircraft in less than 5 minutes, including tuning for the first flight.

SUPPORT FOR SMART TRANSMITTER FILES
Smart transmitter files are a new feature on the AR630+ receiver that makes transmitter programming easier than ever. They consist of a set of transmitter configuration parameters stored in the model file in the receiver. When binding to a receiver that contains one of these model files, the user can choose to download said model file from the receiver and overwrite the currently selected transmitter model memory with the model file stored on the receiver. This provides the user with an easy way to import a new model setup for their BNF model into the current model memory without having to program the model themselves or search for and download the relevant model programming online.
Note: Supported transmitters are currently the iX20, iX14 and NX transmitters with the latest firmware updates.

SAFE® TECHNOLOGY
SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) flight mode helps pilots avoid over-controlling their models. SAFE uses AS3X+ to achieve normal flight performance, but with limited pitch angles to prevent the aircraft from entering extreme flight envelopes.

The AR630+ features an internal antenna design that provides superior performance over the entire range. Installation is easier than ever before and there is no more risk of failure due to cable breaks or chafing

SMART TELEMETRY
Use the AR630+ receiver with a Smart ESC and a telemetry-enabled Spektrum DSMX® transmitter to take full advantage of Smart™ technology.
